Your early-access request is submitted to NISI and saved for follow-up. Fictional demo inputs stay in the open page. Cloudflare provides the website infrastructure and cookie-free usage and performance analytics.
Who and what this policy covers
NISI Legal Systems Inc. (“NISI”, “we”, “us”) operates GETNISI at getnisi.ca. This policy covers the public website, its early-access form and fictional demonstrations.
It does not cover the live NISI application, customer workspaces or client files. Those services require separate information about the actual processing, providers and terms for your practice.
Information we collect
Early-access requests
When you submit the form, we receive your name, work email and firm. Optional fields let you include firm size, the workflow you need help with, practice location, main tools and a message.
The request is stored in Cloudflare D1, NISI’s website database, with a request identifier, submission time and privacy-notice version. An on-page acknowledgement confirms that the request was saved. No automatic confirmation email is sent. The request database does not store your IP address or browser user-agent.
Please do not submit client information or confidential matter details. If you email us separately, we receive the contact details and message you send through your email service.
Fictional demonstrations
Demo instructions and choices are held in the open page and are not submitted to NISI, a connected account or an AI provider. Reloading resets the demo. The website does not access your inbox, files, calendar or practice-management account.
Website requests and analytics
Cloudflare delivers the site and processes technical requests, including information such as IP address, browser details, requested page and time, to operate and protect its services.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled on the live website. Its browser beacon measures page visits and performance, including page-load timings. Reports can group activity by page, referring site, country, device type, browser and operating system. See Cloudflare’s analytics dimensions.
The beacon does not use cookies or persistent browser storage. Cloudflare states that its analytics service discards incoming IP addresses rather than storing them in its analytics databases or logs. That statement concerns analytics, not every hosting or security function. See Cloudflare’s beacon and privacy documentation.
How information is used
We use your request to understand your practice’s needs, manage early-access interest and follow up about that request. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing emails, create an app account or make a purchase.
We use website analytics to understand which pages are useful and improve performance. Form submissions are stored separately from those measurements. The fictional demo uses your inputs only to update the example you see.
Retention and protection
Closing or reloading the page does not delete a submitted request. No fixed automatic deletion period is currently set for early-access records. Contact us to request access, correction, removal or an end to follow-up; any applicable legal retention requirements will be considered when handling your request.
Demo state ends when the page reloads. Browser caches, enquiry emails and Cloudflare’s operational records are separate. Cloudflare’s service policies govern its technical records. This website notice does not claim a security certification or define the live application’s safeguards.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse without submitting a request, leave optional fields blank and manage cache, autofill and site data in your browser. Email us to ask about information held in relation to your request.
We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information. Nothing here limits rights or complaint options available under applicable privacy law. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada explains the different Canadian privacy laws and regulators.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the website’s information handling changes and identify the revision date above. New purposes or collection features will be explained when introduced.
